The Lincoln VW appreciation event is in its third year and is organised by Pete and Barbara Senneck in association with Lincoln BIG and Skyway Promotions.

Cav Taylor took seven months to re-build and stretch this once normal VW Beetle. He has a garage in Revesby, Lincolnshire, and hires out two stretched-limos, Harry a 2003 Beetle with tan interior and Lillie, pictured bellow, a 1998 Beetle with red interior and a sunroof!

There were all kinds of restorations at the event, from the meticulously re-crafted and polished to the imaginative and commonly known ‘Ugly-Bugs’ – the purposely designed ‘ugly’ cars.

Monopoly tablecloth, to a ferny but cheeky re-design.

Organisers voted the ‘Best in Show’ but AltLinc wanted to choose their own!
